DESIGNCUBE, it’s not a name nor a logo. It’s an approach… 

Cube is a solid that also contains 2D shapes, an essential form that can be used for the composition of the simplest to the most complex forms. Just like design, setting functionality as the foundation for the form’s evolution, from a plain shape to a compound figure.

Michele Traversa was born in Milan in 1975. Lived between Milan and the Dalmatian Coast, in the summer.

From an early age he had developed a passion for sailing, thus an interest in geography and history.

Graduated in 1999 from the Istituto Europeo di Design of Milan with a major in Industrial Design. While studying, he had the opportunity to work on projects run by Piaggio and Hoesch. Also won the first prize in the Young Designers Contest at Macef of Fiera Milano.

Started working in Milan in different design positions, in graphic and product-oriented studios.

In the graphic design field, he worked for BroadWay Multimedia as a UI/UX Designer, winning the first prize at Mediastars 2000. At Studio Agire he developed advertisements, packaging projects, and dispensers for Kraft Foods Italia, M&M’s, Purina, and other brands.

In the product design section, worked for ICS creating Exhibition Stands and Signposts for commercial and urban areas. He collaborated with Bonetto Design Center: Car, Industrial and Advanced Design.

Moved to Athens in 2002 and founded his own Creative Studio. Began cooperation with BAK Advertising, obtaining awards for the design of Exhibition Kiosks in TIF and Infacoma in Thessaloniki and a Gold Label Award for Extra Virgin Olive Oil Packaging.

More than 20 years of professional experience have given him a multifarious design mindset that embraces a wide spectrum of design. He has always been working with talented collaborators that complement his work on different projects.
